Ashvin has been involved with the European and Asian power, renewable energy and infrastructure sectors since early 2008 in an investment banking and a strategic consulting capacity. He is involved with projects that include M&A, financing and advisory in large scale solar, wind, hydro and thermal projects. Prior to this, he co-founded, AlphaWatt, a solar developer for large scale ground and roof projects, with a primary focus in the UK. In 2013, he completed the sale of a UK onshore wind farm to an IPP working with Blackrock Capital and also completed the sale of a 60MW onshore wind farm in India. His client was the TVS Group, a well established industrial group in India. Ashvin is also an advisor to Indian Energy, an IPP backed by Guggenheim, a US$165 billion fund. In 2006, Ashvin worked closely with the Matrix Group, a US$4 billion property group in the UK, to launch one of the first few institutional real estate funds for the Indian real estate market.

Ashvin’s background includes investment banking in New York and London with JPMorgan, Flemings and Lehman Brothers with extensive experience across diverse industry sectors, including engineering, oil & gas, defence, aerospace, airports and automotive. Some of his clients have included, amongst others, EADS, Smiths Group PLC, Meggitt PLC, GKN Aerospace, Singapore Technologies, Airports Authority of India and Biman Airlines. He was awarded an MBA from the London Business School in 1998.
